SALES REPRESENTATIVE AND CUSTOMER RELATIONS AGENTS

iKhokha is a dynamic young company with a core focus on providing cost effective mobile card payments to small business owners in South Africa. iKhokha is brave, honest, slightly cheeky, innovative, customer-centric, service driven and transparent.

We’re looking for a driven and ambitious sales representative to aggressively drive the expansion of the iKhokha hospitality POS integration with national restaurants utilizing this system.

We need someone who gets shit done and doesn’t take no for an answer. This is a broad role and will require alot of work to get up to speed quickly. If you’re a 9-5’er then do not apply for this job.


THE JOB PURPOSE

Identify new iKhokha customers in the hospitality space and drive sales or conversions to the new iKhokha integrated payment solution.


THE JOB DUTIES                                                                                              

  • maintain relationship with existing account clients and assist with troubleshooting where necessary
  • converting merchants within the sales funnel
  • post-sale call and email follow ups
  • promotional or new product upsell/cross sell/service calls
  • research new sales leads
  • cold sales calls from existing database
  • sales calls from warm leads from various marketing channels and activities
  • cold canvasing and field sales drop-ins, in line with monthly goals and target customer audience
  • ensure all set company standards and targets achieved
  • complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting loops as required
  • provide proactive feedback regarding suggested changes or improvements to scripting, sales or service procedures that could improve the business.
  • sign-up merchants and assist them with FICA documentation where required
  • facilitate warmed leads with sign up process and documentation
  • complimentary follow up visits to larger clients
  • monitor competition in the marketplace and share any relevant insights
  • take full ownership and accountability for resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, offering solutions and making recommendations to management
  • maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing self and shared learning
  • monitor and evaluate success and failure of conversion rates from the previous week and identify solutions to failed conversions


THE JOB REQUIREMENTS      

  • Comfortable with basic networking
    • Router setup
    • Identifying connectivity issues
  • Business networking experience is advantageous
  • General understanding of computer networks
  • Must have a sound understanding of network hardware
    • Eg  routers / switches / firewalls
  • proven track record delivering on sales targets and successfully dealing with customer relationships
  • high sales focus and customer orientation
  • minimum 3 year’s sales, service or related industry experience
  • excellent selling skills
  • effective networking skills
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • must be fluent in English and preferably one other South African language
  • experience in using a CRM tool for managing customers
  • intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • intermediate knowledge of internet usage
  • FICA training/experience advantageous
  • high integrity
